Ares AI medical summary with an in-context AI assistant
Ares AIClient work · Baked Design Studio

Making dense legal casework easier to navigate, verify and turn into action.

Ares AI helps personal injury teams move from unstructured records to useful case intelligence. I designed workflows for case intake, medical and billing analysis, AI-assisted research and demand-letter production—bringing a fragmented process into one clear workspace.

Information architecture, core workflows, AI interaction patterns and product UI

01 / Structured intake

Start a case with only the information the system needs next.

I broke the complex intake process into focused decisions: identify the matter, choose an output and attach source documents. I used clear progress, examples and optional fields to keep users moving while making the AI's source material explicit.

02 / Evidence made legible

Turn long records into a case structure people can scan and trust.

I organised medical records into readable summaries and structured evidence views. This lets teams move from a high-level narrative into diagnoses, visits, imaging and treatment details while keeping the source material close to every interpretation.

03 / Financial clarity

Make billing evidence useful at both summary and line-item level.

I structured the billing experience across summary and line-item views, giving legal teams a quick read on totals, providers and outstanding balances while keeping the underlying charges easy to inspect.

04 / AI in context

Let users question the case without leaving the evidence behind.

I placed the assistant beside the active case view so every question stayed grounded in the evidence. Suggested prompts provide a useful starting point, while persistent case navigation gives each response clear context.

05 / From analysis to deliverable

Keep the generated demand letter editable, reviewable and connected to the case.

I designed the generated demand letter as a working document rather than a sealed AI output. Attorneys can edit it, add case-specific insurance information and move between the evidence and deliverable without losing control.

06 / System feedback

Show the work while the deliverable is being prepared.

I designed a calm progress state that names each step—from analysing records to finalising the document—so users understand what is happening and what comes next.

The result

One coherent workspace from raw records to a review-ready legal deliverable.

I connected intake, document processing, medical and billing intelligence, in-context AI and demand-letter editing into one system—giving legal teams speed without taking away visibility or control.
