Comp AIClient work · Baked Design Studio

Turning compliance work into guided, testable AI automations.

Comp AI helps growing teams prepare for audits and manage security compliance. I designed a light-mode automation experience that lets users describe a task naturally, follow the agent’s reasoning, provide missing context and inspect the workflow before it runs.

AI task flow, workflow visualisation, system states and light-mode UI

01 / Clear starting point

Begin with the job, not the machinery behind it.

I designed the entry point around a simple question and useful examples, so users could describe the compliance outcome they needed without first learning how the automation system worked. I also reserved a clear workspace for the flow Comp AI would generate.

02 / Guided context

Ask for missing information without breaking the flow.

To keep users in context, I placed requests for organisation details and credentials directly inside the conversation. I separated required and optional fields, explained why each input mattered and kept the original task visible throughout.

03 / Visible system

Make the generated workflow readable before it runs.

I translated the generated script into a visual sequence of triggers, actions and conditions. Colour, labels and plain-language descriptions help users understand what will happen before running the automation and see where every step belongs.

04 / Trust and control

Let technical users inspect what the agent produced.

I paired the visual workflow with a code view to support different levels of technical confidence. Teams can understand the sequence at a glance, inspect the generated implementation when necessary and test it without leaving the task.

05 / Useful failure

Turn an error into a clear next action.

I designed the testing states to keep progress visible and make failure recoverable. Instead of stopping at an error message, users can inspect the output or logs, understand the issue and ask the AI to help repair the automation.

The result

A compliance automation experience that stays understandable from prompt to recovery.

I brought conversational input, progressive context gathering, workflow visualisation, code inspection and testing into one continuous workspace—giving less technical users clarity without removing control from experts.
